Session 3 will demonstrate how GeoGebra can be used to support the teaching of large data sets for the statistics section of the A Level. They will be upskilled in using GeoGebra from scratch, learning how to use the basic functions to support their teaching and to allow students to engage with the software to deepen their understanding of the subject. Teachers will engage with existing resources developed using the dynamic software for the purpose of teaching of post 16 mathematics, identifying the pedagogical benefit and the important questioning that would accompany the resources. GeoGebra is an interactive geometry, algebra, statistics and calculus application that is available on multiple platforms. I know, but I prefer to use it over Geogebra with students when possible.
